GAITHERSBURG, Md. (7News) – Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a commercial burglary at Elite Studio and Barber on Triangle Lane in Gaithersburg.
According to Montgomery County Police, the break-in occurred during the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Surveillance footage showed Oscar Hernandez-Bonilla, 39, of Rockville, and Osmin Ernesto Martinez Diaz, 41, of Silver Spring, entering the business at approximately 2:04 a.m., stealing property, and fleeing the scene.
Later that morning, around 10:46 a.m., officers patrolling the 11200 block of Georgia Avenue recognized Hernandez-Bonilla from the surveillance video. He was apprehended nearby with stolen property in his possession and charged with second-degree burglary and theft-related offenses. He remains in custody at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
Martinez Diaz was arrested later that day in the same area. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained prior to his arrest. Following medical care, he was also charged with second-degree burglary and theft-related charges and has since been released on bond.
Authorities continue to investigate whether the suspects may be connected to other recent commercial burglaries in the area.
