ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) — Anne Arundel County Police have arrested Orlando Ray Coleman Jr., 29, following a multi-month investigation into drug distribution across Severn, Annapolis, and surrounding counties.
Detectives identified Coleman as a key figure in the trafficking of cocaine and marijuana.
On July 30, around 1:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at West Street and Westbridge Drive in Annapolis, which led to Coleman’s arrest.
Subsequently, police executed search warrants on Coleman’s person, vehicle, residence on Croll Drive, and an associated storage unit.
The search uncovered a significant cache of weapons and drugs, including an HK 416 rifle with a loaded 30+ round magazine, a loaded Black Glock 29 with 10 rounds, and a loaded gold and black Polymer 80 pistol with 6 rounds.
Authorities also seized:
752.24 grams of suspected cocaine
23 bottles of suspected Promethazine
999 individually packaged suspected MDMA gummies
12.91 grams of suspected crack cocaine
38.92 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms
15.05 grams of suspected heroin
3.94 grams of suspected oxycodone
1,135.42 grams of suspected cannabis
Additionally, four digital scales with residue and over $8,000 in U.S. currency were confiscated.
Coleman faces multiple charges related to weapons possession and controlled dangerous substances violations. The investigation remains ongoing.
