by Sophia Bennett

The Ondo State Police Command has arrested four additional suspects linked to a motorcycle theft syndicate and recovered a TVS motorcycle, authorities said.

The suspects—identified as Onyeka, Ekene, Sunday, and Abubakar—were apprehended in Edo State following intelligence-led operations that tracked fleeing syndicate members. During interrogation, they reportedly confessed to their roles in the theft ring. The suspects are expected to be charged to court after investigations conclude.

DSP Abayomi Jimoh, Police Public Relations Officer, said the arrests demonstrate the command’s strengthened capacity for crime-fighting and protection of lives and property. Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
