In a major operation in North Goa, police apprehended Nigerian national Omorigo Friday and local resident Sudhir Gurudas Paleinkar following the seizure of cocaine valued at Rs 15.89 lakh on the black market.
Omorigo Friday was caught on February 6 in possession of 31.794 grams of suspected cocaine. His arrest led authorities to Sudhir Paleinkar, who was detained two days later.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and investigations are ongoing to uncover further details of the drug operation.
