YORK, Pa. — The York City Police Department has arrested 19-year-old O’Mari Michael in connection with a shooting on South Pershing Avenue that left a 41-year-old man critically injured.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday, prompting an urgent investigation. Authorities confirmed Thursday night that Michael had been located and taken into custody.
Michael was wanted on charges of criminal attempted homicide. Police also noted that he was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to an active protection-from-abuse (PFA) order.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are also seeking 23-year-old Robert Zamot, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the case. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the York City Police.
