On Friday, June 27, at approximately 4:21 p.m., officers located a stolen vehicle traveling near Old Columbia Pike. The car fled north and eventually turned off at Copland Court and Fairland Road, where it struck a median and the occupants fled on foot into a nearby neighborhood.
Inside the vehicle were five suspects: a 13-year-old, two 16-year-olds, and two adults.
All five were apprehended shortly afterward. During a search of their belongings, police found a loaded handgun in one 16-year-old’s bag and two loaded handguns—one stolen and one with the serial number removed, classifying it as a ghost gun—in the other 16-year-old’s possession.
The 13-year-old has been charged with vehicle theft and referred to the Juvenile Department.
The adult suspects, identified as 18-year-old Nyveek Ross of Silver Spring and 19-year-old Kamonte Frazier of Columbia, have been charged with:

The two 16-year-olds are being charged as adults and face:
