The Nuh police have arrested a drug peddler, Heera Lal, after seizing over 50 kilograms of illegal marijuana from a car. However, his associate, Haroon, managed to flee the scene. The police also impounded the Brezza car used by the accused.
According to Krishan Kumar, spokesperson for the Nuh police, the Nuh CIA team acted swiftly after receiving information about the drug deal on Tuesday morning. The team raided the location and stopped the car. While Heera Lal was arrested, his associate Haroon managed to escape on foot.
Upon searching the car, the police recovered two plastic bags containing 50.760 kilograms of marijuana. The seized drugs were taken into evidence, and Heera Lal was arrested on the spot. An FIR has been registered at the Nuh Sadar police station, and police are conducting raids to apprehend Haroon, who is expected to be arrested soon.
