A joint team of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (Lucknow) and Patti police in Pratapgarh arrested a notorious drug peddler, Loha Yadav, and seized a large consignment of illegal ganja on Thursday. The police confiscated 61 kilograms of ganja hidden in two sacks along with a pen drive from his possession.
Loha Yadav, 40, hails from Labeda village and has been linked to over 30 criminal cases across different districts in Uttar Pradesh. He was booked under sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) for his involvement in drug trafficking.
