SPRINGFIELD, Mass. —
Gabriel Lebron, 35, of Northampton, pleaded guilty on Monday in federal court to charges related to drug possession and firearms offenses.

On April 9, officers responded to the Howard Johnson hotel lobby after reports of Lebron brandishing a firearm. Authorities found him with a loaded Jimenez Arms Model JA 25 semi-automatic pistol, along with crack cocaine and heroin.

Lebron was already on federal supervised release following a prior firearms conviction in Vermont involving a loaded ghost gun and ammunition. For that offense, he was sentenced to 27 months in prison in 2023.

This time, Lebron pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and heroin. He is set to be sentenced on January 15, 2026.
