In a swift police operation, authorities arrested Nirmala Berwa along with her two brothers, Manoj and Pradeep Berwa, in connection with the murder of her husband Ghanshyam Berwa and his father, 70-year-old Thansingh Berwa, in Dausa district.
The gruesome killings occurred in the backyard of their home near Khwarawji village on Saturday morning. Both victims, Ghanshyam (35) and Thansingh, were found dead, and postmortem reports confirmed their deaths due to blunt force injuries.
Police reports revealed ongoing domestic tensions, with Nirmala reportedly struggling with frequent disputes at home. Frustrated by the conflicts, she allegedly called her brothers, who together attacked Ghanshyam and Thansingh using sticks, rods, and bricks, killing them instantly.
Following the incident, a special police team was formed, utilizing technical surveillance and local intelligence, in collaboration with the Manpur police. The team successfully traced and arrested Nirmala Berwa (30) and her brothers Manoj (32) and Pradeep Berwa (26), all residents of Likhli village under Manpur police station, within 24 hours of the murders.
Investigation is ongoing as the police prepare charges against the accused.
