PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Twenty-two-year-old Nino Dasilvio from Darby, Delaware County, has been arrested in connection with a mass shooting that injured eight people earlier this month in South Philadelphia.

Dasilvio surrendered to the U.S. Marshals on Thursday and faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

The shooting took place on July 5th outside the 7-Elements bar and lounge located at 11th Street and Washington Avenue.

Authorities also charged a security guard who fired shots while attempting to intervene during the incident.

Investigations into the case are ongoing as authorities work to piece together the full circumstances of the shooting.
