Alert residents in Kodigehalli assisted police in arresting a 35-year-old Nigerian national, Nauzi Blessing, who was allegedly attempting to deliver MDMA to a client at NTI Layout on Sunday.
Authorities said Nauzi Blessing has been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. The timely intervention by local residents helped the police prevent the distribution of the illicit substance.
The police investigation is ongoing to trace the source of the drugs and identify any accomplices involved in the operation.
