A Nigerian national was arrested during a narcotics raid at Corgao in Pernem after police recovered drugs valued at approximately Rs1.05 lakh from his possession.
The accused, identified as Joseph Osuagwu Kelechi (40), was allegedly found carrying 13 round pink tablets weighing 3.66 grams, suspected to be Ecstasy, along with a black sticky substance weighing 23.88 grams, suspected to be Charas.
Authorities have taken Joseph into custody, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the seized narcotics and any potential links to larger drug networks.
