In a significant drug trafficking crackdown, the Delhi Police on Monday arrested a Nigerian national, Patrik, who previously appeared in several Bollywood films. The 47-year-old actor, originally from Abia state, Nigeria, was detained along with an accomplice, Shashikant Ravindra Prabhu from Maharashtra.
The police seized a total of 354 grams of narcotics during the arrest, including 769 tablets with an estimated street value of Rs30 lakh. According to a senior police official, both suspects were taken into custody during a targeted operation in the capital.
Authorities are currently investigating the network linked to this drug trafficking case and whether it has broader connections in the entertainment industry.
