Nicole Meier, Mark Deso Arrested in Coeymans Burglary

Police recover stolen rifles, jewelry, and electronics

COEYMANS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two people have been arrested in connection with a burglary investigation in Coeymans, according to police.

Nicole Meier, 43, and Mark Deso, 53, were taken into custody on October 2 after police executed a search warrant at a home on County Road 111. Inside the residence, officers reportedly found several stolen items, including rifles, jewelry, a computer, a printer, and surveillance equipment.

Detectives determined the recovered property had been stolen during a recent theft. Meier and Deso, who were at the home at the time of the search, were both arrested.

Meier faces charges of second-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, and fourth-degree conspiracy. Deso faces two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree conspiracy.

Meier was remanded to the Albany County Jail pending a preliminary hearing, while Deso was released on his own recognizance. Police said the investigation is ongoing and that additional arrests are expected.
