CLIFTON PARK, NY (WRGB) — Two women from Waterford face felony charges following a traffic stop early Friday morning in Clifton Park.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at 3:09 a.m. on Grooms Road. Investigation led to the arrest of Nicole M. Brennan, 49, and Christina M. Sharps, 37, on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony.
Both women are accused of knowingly possessing over 500 milligrams of cocaine.
Brennan was released on an appearance ticket pending further court action. Sharps was arraigned before Judge Robert A. Rybak in Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail awaiting further proceedings.
