Nick Dosanjh, 33, of Simmons Drive, Quinton, has been charged with nine shop theft offences across multiple West Midlands locations, including Solihull, Wolverhampton, Brierley Hill, Smethwick, Walsall, and Birmingham.

Eight of these charges involve thefts from jewellery stores, with more than £16,000 worth of jewellery reported stolen.

The arrests followed a traffic stop in Oldbury earlier this week, where officers stopped a suspicious vehicle.

The driver was subsequently fined for driving without a licence and insurance as part of the ongoing investigation.
