Nicholasville Man Arrested in Fentanyl Trafficking Investigation

388 grams of fentanyl seized; one man charged with felony

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A months-long investigation by the Nicholasville Police Department has led to the arrest of Danzell Cruse, who now faces a felony charge related to fentanyl trafficking.

The investigation, which focused on a drug trafficking organization distributing fentanyl in central Kentucky, was carried out by the Nicholasville Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 388 grams (nearly one pound) of fentanyl, which authorities believe was being distributed throughout the region.

Cruse was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking in the First Degree (fentanyl), a Class B felony. Authorities continue to work on the case as the investigation into the trafficking organization progresses.
