Luton Man Charged with Triple Murder of Woman and Two Teenagers
An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murders of a woman and two teenagers, whose bodies were found in a flat in Luton on Friday, Bedfordshire Police reported.
Nicholas Prosper, from Leabank, Luton, was arrested early on Friday morning in Bramingham Road after police discovered the bodies at a flat in Leabank, near Wauluds Bank Drive, at approximately 5:30 am. The victims are believed to be Juliana Prosper, 48, and her children Kyle Prosper, 16, and Giselle Prosper, 13, though formal identification is pending. In addition to the murder charges, Prosper faces multiple firearms offences.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit expressed his condolences to the victims’ family and highlighted the difficult circumstances surrounding the investigation.
“While formal identification has not been completed, the next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specialist officers,” said Hall. “We ask for their privacy to be respected during this incredibly challenging time.”
Following the discovery, officers quickly responded to the scene, and Prosper was arrested shortly after. He has been charged with three counts of murder and several firearms-related offences. Hall commended the officers who responded to the scene and those who have worked tirelessly to gather the facts surrounding the deaths.
“His arrest and subsequent charges follow a thorough investigation, and we are determined to understand what led to these tragic deaths,” Hall added.
Nicholas Prosper has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
