A man wanted on multiple felony warrants was taken into custody Wednesday evening in Newmarket, New Hampshire, after being spotted by a police officer on routine patrol.
On March 12, 2025, a Newmarket police officer patrolling North Main Street recognized 32-year-old Daniel Gelardi, who was known to have several active arrest warrants and was believed to be in the area. The officer confirmed Gelardi’s identity and arrested him without incident.

Gelardi was arrested on the following charges:
Forgery – Felony
Theft by Unauthorized Taking – Felony
Theft by Deception – Felony
Parole Violation Warrant
Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Identity Fraud Charge (Pose as Another), with $2,000 cash bail
After his arrest, Gelardi was transported to the Rockingham County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment by the respective agencies handling his charges.
