Newark Woman Julie Fabino Arrested for Altering Price Tags at Walmart

Fabino faces felony charges for theft and trespassing at Seneca Falls Walmart

by Sophia Bennett

A 62-year-old Newark woman, Julie Fabino, was arrested on May 12 after allegedly altering price tags and stealing merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter in Seneca Falls.

Seneca Falls Police arrested Fabino at 1:25 p.m. after officers discovered she had switched price tags to scan more expensive items at a lower price during checkout. Further investigation revealed that Fabino had been previously trespassed from all Walmart properties in 2023, making her actions a violation of that ban.

As a result, Fabino faces several charges, including third-degree burglary (a Class D felony), first-degree falsifying business records (a Class E felony), and petit larceny (a Class A misdemeanor).

Fabino was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
