Nephew Arrested in Pardeshipura House Theft

Rs13 Lakh jewellery and cash recovered by police

The Pardeshipura Police arrested three persons involved in a house burglary at Pardeshipura, recovering jewellery and cash worth over Rs13 lakh.

Incident Details

The complainant, Jayshree, had gone with her family to Saptashrungi temple on October 26. Upon returning, she found the rear window open and her almirah locker broken. Missing items included:

Mangalsutra

Earrings, rings, bangles, pendant

Rs47,000 in cash

Investigation and Arrest

Using technical inputs, local intelligence, and CCTV footage, police identified Jayshree’s nephew, Atish Khopde, as the mastermind. He confessed that he, along with Rohit Devda and Kartik Prajapat, stole the items while knowing the family was away. They allegedly spent part of the cash on liquor parties. Police recovered the stolen jewellery and arrested all three.
