The Nakodar city police have arrested a third accused involved in a motorcycle theft ring. According to Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhdev Singh, the accused has been identified as Navdeep, alias Nikhil, a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanakpura.
Navdeep’s arrest follows the earlier capture of his two accomplices. The trio is believed to be behind a series of two-wheeler thefts in the region. A case under Section 303(2) (theft) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered against him.
Police have recovered five stolen motorcycles and one Activa scooter from the group. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether more vehicles were stolen by the gang.
