Navalgund Police Arrest Two in Rs 7.5 Lakh Jewelry Theft

Kirankumar Kumbar, Salim Bailhuli nabbed within six hours

Navalgund Police have successfully cracked a theft case, arresting two suspects within six hours of a complaint being filed and recovering valuables worth Rs 7.5 lakh.

The arrested individuals, identified as Kirankumar Sharanappa Kumbar and Salim Ahmed Moidinsab Bailhuli, are residents of Navalgund and have prior criminal records at the Navalgund Police Station.

The complaint was filed by Jagadish Virupakshappa Mullur of Jamakhana Oni, Navalgund, who reported that gold and other valuables were stolen from his home on November 30 between 10 am and 11 am. Acting promptly, the police traced and apprehended the culprits within hours.

Recovered items include gold ornaments valued at Rs 7.4 lakh, silver worth Rs 17,000, and the two-wheeler used in executing the crime. The swift action of Navalgund Police prevented any further losses.
