LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries reported in mid-August, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
On August 16, deputies responded to several reports of car break-ins on Winged Foot Drive. Investigators, along with forensics teams, collected evidence that led them to identify Nathen Shane Scott as the suspect.
Scott was arrested without incident at his residence on September 2.
He now faces the following charges:
Three counts of unoccupied burglary
One count of petit theft
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains ongoing, and they praised the teamwork between deputies and forensic personnel in making the arrest.
