On June 24, 2025, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Monroe arrested Natalie Taylor, 37, from Stratford, Connecticut, on multiple fraud-related charges.
Taylor faces two counts each of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Identity Theft 1st Degree, both Class D felonies. She also faces two counts of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person 1st Degree, a Class E felony. Additionally, she is charged with unlawful possession of personal identification and scheme to defraud, both misdemeanors.
The investigation began on April 17, 2025, after an employee at St. Dominic’s Family Services noticed unusually low bank balances and unauthorized transactions on two residents’ accounts. The victims, two women aged 28 and 29 with mental disabilities, reported that Taylor had possession of their debit cards.
Taylor allegedly used the debit cards to make unauthorized personal purchases.
She was arrested without incident and is scheduled for arraignment in the Town of Goshen Court on June 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
