Narayana Das Arrested in Fake Narcotics Case Involving Sheela Sunny

Main Accused in Wrongful Narcotics Case of Beauty Parlour Owner Arrested

In a significant development, Narayana Das (58), the main accused in the fake narcotics case that wrongfully implicated Sheela Sunny, a beauty parlour owner from Chalakudy, has been arrested in Bengaluru.

The case, which dates back to February 27, 2023, began when the Excise Department allegedly discovered LSD stamps in Ms. Sunny’s scooter in Chalakudy, leading to her arrest. Following her detention, an FIR was filed, and she spent a total of 72 days in jail.

However, after a forensic analysis, it was revealed that no trace of narcotic substances was found in her possession. As a result, Ms. Sunny was later cleared of all charges. The arrest of Narayana Das now brings closure to the wrongful case, and further investigations are ongoing.
