Napharon Bennett Sentenced for Attempted Armed Robbery and Car Break-Ins

Kenosha man gets 4.5 years prison for armed robbery and multiple vehicle break-ins

by Sophia Bennett

KENOSHA, Wis. — Napharon Bennett, 19, was sentenced on September 18, 2025, to 4.5 years in prison, with credit for 532 days served, followed by six years of extended supervision for his role in an attempted armed robbery and numerous vehicle break-ins across Kenosha.

Bennett was arrested in April 2024 after police linked him to over two dozen car entry reports starting from March 2024, during which personal belongings — including firearms — were stolen from unlocked vehicles. Increased patrols in targeted neighborhoods followed as police worked to identify the suspect.

In March 2025, Bennett pleaded guilty to attempted armed robbery, while three other charges — including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed weapon — were dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.

On April 3, 2024, police responded to a gas station on 75th Street where Bennett allegedly attempted to rob a man at gunpoint before entering the victim’s unlocked vehicle. Surveillance footage confirmed Bennett’s involvement and matched previous break-in descriptions.

He was arrested two days later wearing the same clothing seen in surveillance during the break-ins.
