A woman has been charged with the murder of her 69-year-old sister, who was found stabbed inside her north London home.

Nancy Pexton, also 69, faces a murder charge for the killing of Jennifer Abbott, known as Sarah Steinberg, discovered dead at her Camden flat last Friday (June 13), according to the Metropolitan Police.

The two women are understood to be sisters. Ms. Abbott was found by her niece and neighbors who broke down her door after family members had not heard from her for several days.

A post-mortem examination revealed that sharp force trauma was the cause of death.

Neighbors described Ms. Abbott as “exuberant” and “vivacious,” often seen walking her pet corgi around the area.

Scotland Yard has said officers are investigating whether Ms. Abbott’s death is connected to the disappearance of a diamond-encrusted Rolex from her home.

Nancy Pexton, of Gloucester Place, Westminster, is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
