Nakodar police have arrested Amanjot, a resident of Gohir village, on charges of selling intoxicating tablets.
Authorities recovered 24 tablets from his possession during the arrest.
A case has been registered against Amanjot under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act for illegal possession and sale of controlled substances.
Police continue to investigate and urge the public to report any drug-related activities in the area.
