Hubballi Town Police have apprehended a man with a significant haul of ganja, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Mahaning Nandagavi identified the arrested individual as Nagaraj Baddi, a resident of Old Hubballi. The police intercepted Baddi near Muttu Maremma Temple on Goods Shed Road and recovered over two kilograms of ganja from his possession.
The arrest is part of ongoing efforts by the Hubballi Town Police to crack down on drug trafficking and curb the circulation of illegal substances in the city.
