The accused, Durg Singh and Matu Singh, both hailing from Rajasthan, were arrested. Investigators revealed that the consignment originated in Manipur and was intended for delivery to a contact named Bharat in Guwahati.
Just two days later, on June 14, another bust resulted in the seizure of 70 soap cases containing 739 grams of heroin, locally known as “Shan Flower,” worth approximately Rs5.17 crore.
The accused in this case were identified as Visani and Th. Pavikho, both residents of Manipur. Police traced the source of the consignment to a person named Sani, also known by aliases Kavisii and Kavi, from Manipur.
