Both are residents of Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

According to RPF Inspector Manish Kumar, the duo was caught during routine surveillance operations conducted at Muzaffarpur railway station as part of the Samastipur Division’s intensified efforts to curb theft on trains.

The arrests led to the recovery of:

Three stolen mobile phones

Two gold lockets

The accused were interrogated, and their statements were recorded by the RPF before they were handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further legal action.
