The incident came to light after a Delhi resident filed a complaint at Sector-29 police station, stating that he was robbed of Rs59,500 after attempting to book a call girl via WhatsApp. The man had booked a hotel room in Chakarpur, Gurugram. When he contacted a number online for a call girl, he was lured into a vehicle where he was assaulted and robbed.
