A day after four people were arrested in the shocking murder case of a youth with intellectual disability, Coimbatore District Police made two more arrests on Sunday. The incident occurred at a residential centre for individuals with developmental disorders near Pollachi.
The latest accused have been identified as B. Sathis (23) from Gudalur in the Nilgiris and M. Sheela (29) from Thiruvannamalai. Both were working as caretakers at the facility. Authorities believe their involvement is crucial to the ongoing investigation.
The arrests bring the total number of people in custody to six, as the police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death.
