Multiple Arrests Made in Vernon Parish on Drug, Theft, and Abuse Charges

Recent arrests include drug possession, theft, and domestic abuse cases

LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office has made several arrests in recent days, with charges ranging from drug possession to theft and domestic abuse, as announced by Sheriff Sam Craft.

On March 2, deputies arrested Steven A. Mills, 42, of Anacoco, on charges of criminal trespass, possession of a Schedule III narcotic, possession of a Schedule II narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mills remains in the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) jail with a bond set at $35,061.

On March 5, authorities arrested Stephen Alan Perkins, 36, of Rosepine, on one count of theft over $1,500. Perkins posted a $5,000 bond and was released shortly afterward.

Also on March 5, James Evander Turner, 45, of Leesville, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse battery. He posted a $1,281 bond and was released.

Gary Ray Boudreaux, 49, of Leblanc, was arrested the same day on a charge of simple battery. He also posted a $1,281 bond and was released.

On March 6, deputies arrested Stacey Lynn Siegrist, 50, of Lake Charles, on one count of theft. Siegrist remains in the VPSO jail on a $5,000 bond.
