East Baton Rouge Parish, La. (WAFB) — A significant drug investigation led to the arrest of multiple individuals in East Baton Rouge Parish, authorities announced.
Quintin Chambliss, identified as a key drug trafficker, along with Dwayne Williams, Bryson Lumbers, and Daviyon Ventress, are facing several charges related to drug and firearm offenses, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO).
The investigation, which spanned the entire month of April, included extensive surveillance efforts in Baton Rouge. Agents discovered that Chambliss was operating out of a location on South Sunderland Avenue, using it to facilitate narcotics and gun transactions. Numerous hand-to-hand drug deals were observed during the surveillance.
A search warrant was executed at the South Sunderland Avenue location, along with another at a property on Yorkfield Drive, which was also linked to Chambliss. Authorities uncovered fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, and multiple firearms, including machine guns, at the Yorkfield Drive location.
