Hyderabad’s Central Crime Station (CCS) Police have arrested Mukesh Chowdhary (33) and Amit Kumar Pilania (31) in connection with a multi-crore investment fraud case involving the online grocery platform Urban Market.
The accused allegedly defrauded investors of Rs24.36 crore by promising high returns, presenting the scam as a legitimate business venture. The case highlights growing concerns over fraudulent online investment schemes.
Authorities are investigating further to identify additional accomplices and victims. The CCS police have urged investors to exercise caution and verify opportunities before committing funds.
