Mukesh and Suraj Arrested for Robbery of Gurugram Cab Driver

Swift Gurugram police action leads to recovery of stolen cab and phone

Gurugram: In a prompt and decisive operation, Gurugram Police have arrested two men, Mukesh and Suraj, for their involvement in a violent robbery targeting a cab driver in the Bhondsi area.

According to police, the suspects attacked the driver before escaping with his car and mobile phone. The incident was reported on October 15, when the cab driver filed a complaint stating that he had driven to Bhondsi to pick up passengers who claimed they were heading to the airport.

Midway through the journey, the accused allegedly changed the destination, saying they had to retrieve a forgotten passport. Moments later, they assaulted the driver and fled the scene in his vehicle, also taking his phone.

Following a swift investigation, the Gurugram Police traced and arrested both accused, successfully recovering the stolen cab and mobile phone. Authorities praised the quick coordination between local teams that led to the arrests within days of the incident.
