The Bilga police have registered a murder case against a mother-son duo and a panchayat member for allegedly killing their co-villager in Ladharr Kalan. The accused — Pushpa Rani, her son Manpreet (alias Gaggi), and Jagtar (alias Beru) — were booked following the death of Lovdeep (alias Labha) on May 22.
The victim’s mother, Jeeto, reported that her son was brutally beaten to death by the accused. The police have filed charges under Sections 103 (murder), 79 (insulting the modesty of a woman), and 3(5) (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Investigations are ongoing.
