MOSS POINT, Miss. (WLOX) – The Moss Point Police Department announced on Friday that charges have been upgraded for three suspects in the murder case of Demond Taveion Ross, a 23-year-old man who died after a violent altercation in March.

Ross’ death occurred on Saturday, March 22, following a fight between several women. Police say a large crowd gathered, and during the chaos, Ross tried to intervene but was beaten by multiple people. He was also struck by a vehicle as another assault victim attempted to flee the scene.

Initially, three people were arrested and charged with aggravated assault, though one was released. Now, Roy Deangelo Reeves Jr. (26), Rubby Oneal Reeves (45), and Daniel Raymond Kidwell (29), all of Moss Point, face second-degree murder charges in connection with Ross’ death.

Additionally, a new arrest has been made, and charges have been upgraded for the individuals involved.

Moss Point police are still actively searching for three more suspects believed to be connected to the case:

Kezwick Kwamie Webb (34), Moss Point

Marcus Cornell Jackson Jr. (24), Moss Point

Gabriel Trayvon Turk-Magee (23), Moss Point

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to locate the additional suspects.
