AMORY, Miss. — Police arrested Morica Wright, 43, following an alleged attempted robbery early Thursday morning in Amory.
The incident occurred overnight at a location on Front Street, near Main Street. Authorities reported that no items were stolen and no injuries occurred during the attempt.
Wright was charged with attempted strong-arm robbery and is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
