Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh: Police have arrested three men in Moradabad district for allegedly killing their 19-year-old sister and her 27-year-old partner, then burying their bodies.

The victims have been identified as Mohammad Arman and Kajal Saini, while the accused are Rajaram, Satish, and Rinku Saini. The couple was hacked to death in Umri village early Monday, and their bodies were recovered from an area under Pakwara police station on Wednesday evening.

According to police officials, Arman, who lived nearby, visited Kajal’s home late Sunday night. When one of her brothers discovered him inside her room, he alerted his siblings. The trio allegedly entered Kajal’s room forcibly, assaulted both her and Arman, and prevented other family members from intervening.

The arrests mark a significant development in the investigation of this brutal case, which authorities are treating as an interfaith honor killing.
