On Sunday, August 10, police arrested a 51-year-old man named Mohammed from Kunnamangalam, accused of sexually abusing a differently-abled woman under the guise of performing sorcery to cure her ailments.
According to police sources, the survivor from Perinthalmanna filed a complaint alleging that Mohammed exploited her by promising a fake marriage. The assault allegedly took place at Mohammed’s residence a few months ago. The police took swift action following the complaint and apprehended the accused.
