WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. — A drug investigation that started in July 2024 led to the arrest of Modesto R. Rodriguez on Saturday.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant on Rodriguez’s home after suspecting him of selling crack cocaine. During the search, deputies recovered 4.6 ounces of crack cocaine along with a stolen handgun.
Rodriguez now faces multiple felony charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office continues its efforts to crack down on illegal drug activities in the area.
