PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – A mobile phone vendor has been arrested after a brutal assault on a 25-year-old woman, leaving her bloodied and injured.
The suspect, identified as Prak Samnang, also known as Nang, 35, was taken into custody on December 4, 2023, at around 12:05 p.m. The arrest took place at 53E Street 336, Village 10, Sangkat Boeung Salang, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.
Authorities reported that the victim suffered serious facial injuries, including a bleeding mouth, after the attack.
Prak Samnang is currently being held at the Tuol Kork Police Inspectorate for questioning and further legal proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.
