MISSOURI CITY, Texas — Missouri City Police are actively searching for a runaway suspect following an attempted theft of diesel fuel near Austin Parkway.
The incident occurred in the 4900 block of State Highway 6, where officers responded to a report of diesel fuel theft. While one suspect was apprehended at the scene, another fled on foot and remains at large.
Authorities have stated there is no known threat to the public as the search continues. Currently, no description of the suspect is available.
It has not been confirmed whether this incident is related to the lockdown at Austin Parkway Elementary School.
