EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Jaime Patricio Condo-Congacha, 31, is facing felony theft and additional charges after allegedly stealing over $2,600 worth of merchandise from the Eden Prairie Home Depot and fleeing police.

According to court documents, on February 13, store security reported two men concealing power tool batteries and laser levels in backpacks. Condo-Congacha reportedly used a ladder to access locked tools and passed them to an accomplice before fleeing when confronted.

Police said Condo-Congacha gave a false name before his arrest.

He also faces a felony theft charge in Ramsey County linked to a similar theft at a Maplewood Home Depot in February. Active warrants remain for him in both counties.
