Walmart Supercenter in Sykesville, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the store on Ridge Road around 11:07 a.m. on December 14 after receiving reports of a theft in progress. Authorities were informed that multiple suspects had pushed shopping carts filled with merchandise out of the store without paying and fled in a white Chevrolet Impala traveling eastbound on Route 26.
With assistance from Maryland State Police, deputies located the suspect vehicle in the 6100 block of Monroe Avenue. All four occupants were taken into custody, and deputies recovered the stolen Walmart merchandise from inside the car.
In addition to the stolen items, officers found multiple glass smoking devices and containers holding suspected residue of controlled dangerous substances.
The suspects were identified as Milo Darren Barry-Parhjam, 35, of Baltimore; Regina Elizabeth Musa, 50, of Baltimore; Kenneth James Parham, 36, of Halethorpe; and Lauren Kimberly Thomas, 43, of Friendship.
All four were charged with theft, possession of controlled dangerous substances (excluding cannabis), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Parham, who was identified as the driver, faces additional charges for obstruction and traffic violations, including driving on a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device.
