MOORESVILLE, NC — Miles Reid Morgan, 33, of Mooresville, has been arrested on April 25, 2025, after being charged with ten counts each of second-degree and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
The investigation began when officers with the Mooresville Police Department responded to a tip in the Waterlynn subdivision, where explicit material involving minors was discovered on Morgan’s electronic devices. The Mooresville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division was immediately notified and began their inquiry.
Upon reviewing the reported Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), officers arrested Miles Reid Morgan and conducted a search of his residence. During the search, additional electronic devices were seized, and the investigation is ongoing.
Morgan was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $1.2 million secured bond.
